25-26 Annual Report
MESSAGE FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
RivCoParks Supporters and Friends,
This past year marked an important milestone for RivCoParks as we celebrated the District’s 35th anniversary. It was an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come and, as the accomplishments in this report demonstrate, how much we continue to grow and evolve. This year’s Annual Report tells a story of a park system growing in both reach and responsibility. Today, we care for more than 106,000 acres and 188 miles of regional trails while welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors to our parks, open spaces, nature centers, historic sites, and programs. At the same time, we are advancing major park improvement projects, investing in aging facilities, and strengthening the systems that will support RivCoParks for years to come. Behind every number in this report are people: employees, volunteers, partners, Commissioners, and County leaders working together to make Riverside County’s parks and open spaces better, more accessible, and more sustainable As we look beyond our first 35 years as a District, I am proud of the progress we have made and grateful to everyone who continues to make this work possible.
