Camping at RivCoParks? Here’s a guide for what to bring on your next outdoor adventure! Whether it’s camping in one of our RV hook-up sites or with a classic tent set-up, consider the list below when packing for your trip. Come join us for a world of world-class outdoor recreation! CAMPSITE NECESSITIES CAMPSITE EXTRAS Optional:

Tent with stakes Mallet or hammer (for tent stakes) Sleeping bags and/or blankets Sleeping pad, cot, or air mattress Pillow (camping or regular) Canteen/water bottle Weather appropriate clothing Extra socks & underwear Toiletries (restrooms available) Backpack and/or day bag (for hikes) Hat/sunglasses Sunscreen & lip balm Camping/hiking shoes Firestarters Knife/multi-tool First-aid kit Headlamp, flashlight, or lantern Portable charger

FOOD & MEAL IDEAS Roast hotdogs over the fire with roasting sticks Grill steaks, burgers, veggies over a grate Cook meat and vegetable packs in foil directly over fire (great for “baked” potatoes!) Boil meat, beans, potatoes, etc. in a pot over fire Folding chairs Tent repair kit Duct tape Extra blankets or towels Rope Camera Camp table (if none at campsite) Binoculars Field guides (local flora/fauna) Book/reading material Games and toys Ziplock bags Music player (with headphones) Notepad with pen or pencil Emergency blanket (thermal) Biodegradable soap Bicycles
